Mdm Grace Liow

Mdm Grace Liow is a teaching fellow at the Humanities and Social Studies Education Academic Group in the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, since December 2017. Mdm Liow was a Key Personnel in the discipline of Humanities in a MOE school with 17 years of teaching experience.  Currently, she teaches Social Studies Primary modules to the pre-service student teachers and in-service teachers.  Mdm Liow spearheaded and presented two innovative Geography projects (‘Volcanoes in Action!’ GIS project and ‘The Warmest spot in Jurong West’ Weather and Climate Fieldwork Project) at the International Conference of Educational Technology in 2007 as well as MOE Excel Fest 2014.  Sustainability education is close to her heart and she strives to inculcate a strong sense of environment stewardship in her students.
