HSSE Online will publish an original photo on its home page with each issue. We invite educators and photographers to submit photos that they think capture the nature and spirit of humanities and social studies education and subject matter. These can be photos that portray a sense of history, time, and the past, significant historical, social, political, or economic issues, a sense of place, belonging, citizenship, teaching and learning, the use of new media and technology for social education and active social engagement, etc.
